READS!

In accordance with the tradition of "Building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities" the South Bay Family YMCA invites you to participate in the Y READS! Literacy Program. Y READS! is a free tutoring service that strives to improve student performance in the basic components of literacy: reading and writing. Although this is the primary goal, Y READS! also seeks to empower children (Kindergarten – 6^th graders) with the confidence to seek excellence in their schoolwork and other aspects of their lives.

Please help us help children learn to read. If you are interested in volunteering or enrolling a child contact the Literacy Coordinator at the South Bay Family YMCA. (Training is provided and must be completed before service begins.)
